New On Lava: Get Paid in Bitcoin

Today we’re excited to share our latest feature— get paid in bitcoin, directly to your Lava account.

This feature allows you to direct deposit your paycheck onto Lava, where it will be automatically converted to BTC. The best part? We charge zero fees on the conversion and deposit, so you can maximize the amount of bitcoin you get.

To get started, click through to your bitcoin balance page, and then click “Get Paid in Bitcoin” under the “Buy” tab. There, you’ll see details for your bitcoin bank account on Lava. Any time you transfer funds from your bank to this account, those funds will be automatically converted to bitcoin and added to your balance on Lava. To get paid in bitcoin, simply add this account as your destination account with your payroll provider. Each paycheck will be converted into BTC with zero fees and added to your balance.

Lava also offers direct deposit in dollars, where your paycheck can be added to your dollar balance. From there, you can purchase BTC on Lava with zero fees or move dollars to our Yield product to start earning 7.5% interest immediately.

To get paid to Lava in dollars, navigate to your dollar balance page and click “Get Paid to Lava” under the “Add” tab. Add that account with your payroll provider, and your paychecks will automatically deposit into your Lava account.
