Which merchant categories are not eligible for rewards on Lava Card?

To keep the Lava Card rewards program compliant and sustainable, and to prevent abuse of our 3-5% bitcoin back, we do not pay rewards on transactions from the following categories:

• Fines

• Tax payments

• Insurance Sales, underwriting, and premiums

• Real estate agents and managers - rentals

• Elementary and secondary schools

• Schools and educations services (not elsewhere classified)
